Morandi Room 2008

Morandi Room is an animated still life. The film plays with ideas of containment, using spray, spill and the play of light on water in a painterly fashion to colour the tableau. In keeping with the choice of materials, all of the sound is made from variously processed recordings of metallic instruments. The film was commissioned by the Royal College of Art for the event 'MAP/Making - Looking to the Future of Music, Art and Performance' at the RCA Gulbenkian Gallery.
